Family Start
This is a free, confidential home based voluntary service to provide support for parents of unborn, newborn and families who have a child under the age of 12 months living in Napier. The aim is to strengthen your family and prepare for the future. This service would be recommended for teen-mums. Te Kupenga Hauora – Ahuriri also assists with positive parenting, maternity support, Ante/post-natal depression, homecare/safe environments
Youth Navigators
We aim to put young people in mentoring relationships with caring and relevant role models who live in the same Youth. We believe youth development is best undertaken by building on the strengths and interests of young people through long-term relationships with the youth and their whanau.
School Based Nursing
Registered nurses provide professional health care, education and support to children between the ages twelve (and under) in Napier’s Decile 1 schools who have health problems. Also provide support to whanau and assist their access to other health services.

Kia Piki Te Ora O Te Taitamariki - Maori Youth Suicide Prevention

• This programme is targeted at Maori youth residing in the Hawke's Bay district and it promotes Youth action and coordination across all sectors which impact on the health and wellbeing of taitamariki Maori. It also identifies where additional developments need to occur.
