Rissington Bridge

Key points for consideration

  • Alignment significance:  The feasibility of bridge designs is intricately tied to the chosen alignment of the new bridge. Each alignment concept will carry substantial implications, and guidance from mana whenua is of utmost importance.
  • Land acquisition: Alignments may require land acquisition as part of the project.
  • Project timeline: The goal is to begin construction on a permanent replacement structure to the community by late-2025.
