Need a big space for your event? Council has a number of parks, reserves and public spaces available for non exclusive use, these are listed in the table below. To use a council reserve, park or public spaces, a Temporary Event Permit for commercial or local community is generated from the online application. Applications are requested a minimum of 4 weeks before your event date for processing. The event date is recorded to minimise conflict of events and event activities are assessed to safely deliver to the public and place. Fees and a damages bond may apply. The bond is used to restore damage to grounds and/or assets, and refunded if not required.
Please note: Buskers, Annual Approved Collectors and wedding ceremonies/photos are free but still require an application to use to prevent conflicts. Parks, Reserves and Public Spaces cannot be used for wedding receptions.
