Puketapu Park is a rural reserve with a mix of traditional play gear and grunty play equipment you won’t find in town, including a tandem flying fox, four person see-saw and a spinning Roktopus tyre swing.
The park has a free-to-use barbecue, picnic tables and a large grassed area with an informal cricket pitch. It is on the iWay cycle trail network.
Overnight camping in self-contained vehicles is permitted.

The entrance to the park is off Dartmoor Rd.
Maintenance and development programmes for this park are governed by the District Wide Reserve Management Plan.
