As part of the Councils ongoing commitment to drinking water and storm water, work is about to start on upgrades to strengthen and add to the current network for safety, capacity and supply resilience.
WHERE: The first phase of work is from Busby Hill through to the Joll Road/ Campbell Street roundabout.
WHEN: Work on the first phase is scheduled to begin in early January and due for completion in early February 2021.
WHY: To improve safety, capacity and supply resilience of our drinking and storm water infrastructure.
The second phase of infrastructure upgrades is scheduled to begin in February 2021 and due for completion in August 2021. Works are scheduled on the following areas:
More information will be provided, particularly to affected residents and businesses closer to the time.
Please note, in addition to the Council work on Joll Road, there will also be work commencing by a private developer. Alterations to the road may occur as part of this development.
