Take a trip to the edge of the district to get to this popular summer spot – about an hour’s drive from central Hastings. Waipatiki is a small beachside community located 11km off the main Napier-Gisborne Highway.
The reserve consists of two distinct areas; the native bush area to the north, and the open space domain area with picnic table and toilets that leads to the beachfront.
