Meaning ‘The gift of land’, Whenua Takoha Reserve is a neighbourhood green space in Hastings which includes a grassed play and picnic area with picnic table and a playground. Playground equipment includes swings and climbing frames.

Maintenance and development programmes for this reserve are governed by the Raureka Parks Reserve Management Plan.
Exciting developments are coming to Whenua Takoha Park as part of the Reserve Management Plan adopted by Hastings District Council last year. This plan sets out the future management and development of the three parks in Raureka over the next ten years.
