Whenua Takoha Park (meaning ‘the gift of land’) is a small neighbourhood park, featuring a covered barbecue area with seating, a children’s playground and a multigoal sports court including a basketball hoop. Playground equipment includes swings, rope spinner and junior climbing/slide unit.

Maintenance and development programmes for this reserve are governed by the Raureka Parks Reserve Management Plan.
Exciting developments are coming to Whenua Takoha Park as part of the Reserve Management Plan adopted by Hastings District Council last year. This plan sets out the future management and development of the three parks in Raureka over the next ten years.
