Romanes Park is the home of a nationally rated BMX track that can be used by the public as well as the Hawke’s Bay BMX Club. The club has exclusive use on its competition days; about twice a year.
This Havelock North park has lots of green space, picnic table, adult fitness equipment, football field and a playground donated by the Romanes family. Play equipment includes swings and a climbing frame.

Public toilets: Yes; closed at night
The entrances to the park are off Brookvale Rd and Romanes Dr.
Maintenance and development programmes for this park are governed by the District Wide Reserve Management Plan.
