This large, grassed reserve in Hastings is primarily a sports ground. Home to the Western Rangers Football Club, it is a popular football venue in winter, while in summer fields are marked for touch rugby (see field maps below).
There is a neighbourhood playground near the Southampton St entrance to the park, with swings, a seesaw and a slide.

Public toilets: Yes; open during organised sporting events only
The entrances to the park are off Francis Hicks Ave, Townshend St and Southampton St.
Maintenance and development programmes for this park are governed by the Raureka Parks Reserve Management Plan.
