Started in the middle of May, building of the new revetment wall at Cape View Corner in Haumoana is progressing well, due to be finished by late June/ early July, subject to sea conditions.
This 100m wall is being constructed from limestone rocks and will protect the roads and infrastructure on this stretch of coast from erosion, was well as ensure continued access for residents and the many visitors who enjoy this part of the Hastings district.
