It’s spring-cleaning time! Dig out used oil, chemicals, car batteries and fuels, cleaning products, paints and pesticides and drop them off for free at the annual HazMobile collection to be held on Sunday, November 21.
Each year, Hastings and Napier councils provide this free hazardous waste service.
You will need to book a spot on the council website www.hastingsdc.govt.nz. Search #HazMobile and complete the online booking form – only people who book will be able to use the service. You will be advised of the collection location once you have registered. Making the event by registration enables us to manage numbers effectively and process the waste items efficiently.
Bookings will be open from October 28.
