chess2The Hawke’s Bay District’s Secondary Schools’ Years 7-13 Chess Tournament was held in the Hastings Sports Centre (May 18), attracting 121 players from 19 Hawke’s Bay Schools.

The tournament was jointly organised by Hastings District Council and Hawke’s Bay Chess Inc.
